Nicole Avery - Planning Queen

This is me – Nicole Avery aka Planning Queen! I have been blogging for over three years with my main blog Planning With Kids. To help me become more productive with my blogging time, I turned to Gmail and I love it. On this blog I will share with you tricks and tips that help to make your email world easier.

I will also feature tips and tricks for Google Reader, Google Docs and Google Calendar. All of these products will help you organise your online life and make it easier to work.

A Little Bit More About Me

I live in an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne, Australia with my gorgeous husband and our five amazing kids. BC or before children, I completed a Business Degree, majoring in Finance. The bulk of my working career prior to kids was spent at a large telecommunciations company. I had a number of different roles, key ones being Performance Manager, Call Centre Manager and Project Manager. I stepped away from corporate life in 2001 to focus on my family.

I love music, politics, reading non fiction, spreadsheets and have a serious addiction to a particular diet cola. I also laugh at toilet humour which is incredibly helpful when you have four sons.

	I was recently named one of Melbourne’s most influential bloggers by The Age Melbourne Magazine.
	My first book Planning With Kids published by Wright Books is now available in all leading book stores.
	The Planning With Kids blog is in significant growth phase: Over 158,000 page views in August 2011 Over 103,000 unique visitors in August 2011 Over 3,000 RSS subscribers in August 2011
	PlanningQueen on twitter has over 2,900 followers.
	Planning With Kids facebook page now has over 3,600 fans.
	Planning With Kids was judged to be in the top 5 parenting blogs for Asia Pacific in the 2009 Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards and I was flown to Singapore to participate in the awards ceremony and associated celebrations.
